Mattresses are expensive, and mattress protectors are cheap. So why wouldn’t you use one?

A mattress protector is the best way to keep your mattress clean and protected. A fitted sheet will not protect your mattress from spills, stains, or allergens like a mattress protector will. A mattress is a big investment, so it's important to take care of it. Protecting your mattress from spills, stains and other messes can extend its life for years. In order to keep your mattress clean, you'll need a fitted sheet cover that is made specifically for mattresses. These are designed with elastic bands that stretch around the edges of your bed frame - so no matter how much you toss and turn at night, you won't have any pesky sheets coming off.
